Note* I'm listing specific ingredients so you know how I calculated the calories.1 pound Extra Lean Ground Beef (96/4) 1 16oz container Purity 4% Cottage Cheese4 cups Great Value Fancy Shredded Part Skim Mozzarella, (2 bags)1 24oz jar Bertolli five cheese pasta sauce (Ragu Six Cheese sauce is used in the original recipe, but my store didn't carry it)6 pieces Creamette No Boil Lasagna Noodles Italian Seasoning to taste.I also diced half an onion and added it to the beef while cooking.
12 servings. I'm not sure how many cups, I just cut the pan into 12 pieces.
Brown and drain meat, sprinkle with italian seasoning for flavor.
Combine Cottage Cheese and pasta sauce in bowl.
Spray 9x13 pan with cooking spray, and layer with:
3 no boil noodles
1/2 meat
1/2 sauce mixture
1/2 cheese
Repeat layer and cover tightly with foil. Bake @375 for 45 minutes; let stand for 15 minutes.
