Grilled Cheese with Apples and Bacon

Ingredients
1 tbsp butter8 slices whole-grain bread1 tbsp dijon mustard6 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored, and sliced8 strips turkey bacon
Directions
1. Cook the bacon, shred the cheese and slice the apple.
2. Heat the butter in a large skillet over low heat.
3. Slather 4 slices of bread with the mustard, then divide the cheese, apples, and bacon among them.
4. Top with the other bread slices and add to the hot pan.
5. Cook slowly until each side is deep brown and crunchy, about 10 to 12 minutes total.
6. Have patience.
