1 apple1/2 tsp cinamon1/3 cup quakers quick oats oatmeal3/4 cup water2 tsp splenda
1. grate apple put into microwave safe bowl
2. add cinamon, oats, and water. Stir together
3. microwave on high for one minute stir, and
microwave for one more minute.
4. add spenda to sweeten to your taste.

It's funny that I never thought to do this before, it seems so simple. This recipe is great for those who WANT to eat oatmeal, but need something to make it a bit more palatable. I used a red delicious apple and didn't even need the Splenda. This will definitely make it into my regular rotation! - 3/16/11
