AWESOME lasagna with hot Italian sausage, spinach and whole wheat noodles

1 pkg. whole wheat organic pasta, such as delallo1 lb. Italian hot sausage1 egg15 oz. fat free ricotta cheese1/2 Cup parmesean and romano grated cheese mix1 tsp salt1/2 tsp pepper1 tsp crushed basil3 cups spinach1 1/2 jars of Trader Joes Basil Marinara sauce1/2 cup water
Remove sausage from casing and brown, crumbling. Set aside. In a seperate bowl mix ricotta cheese, parmesean/ romano mix, salt, pepper and basil together with the egg. In a large casserole dish put a little sauce on the bottom of the pan and begin to layer. Spread a thin layer of the ricotta mix on each noodle and layer with mozzarella, spinach, sauce and sausage. Do this three times, using up all of the ricotta, spinach and sausage. For the top layer sprinkle mozzarella, then sauce, then remaining mozzarella over the top. Add 1/2 cup water over the top and cover with foil.
Bake covered with foil at 350 for 40 minutes then uncover to let brown for 10 minutes. Let set 15 minutes and serve.
