Vegan Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients
3 mashed bananas 1/2 cup applesauce2 cups flour1/2 cup sugar1/4 tsp salt1 Tbsp baking soda1 tsp cinnamon1 tsp vanilla extract1/2 cup walnuts1/4 to 1/2 cup milk-like product (optional)1 Tbsp brown sugar
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease your pan.
Mash bananas in a large bowl. Mix in the applesauce.
Stir in flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and vanilla.
Mix in walnuts.
If the batter is too thick for you, add some soy/almond/rice/hemp milk.
Pour/scoop into pan. Top with brown sugar and cinnamon mix.
Bake for one hour for bread or 35 minutes for muffins.

    The bread was very moist and tasty! We really enjoyed it and will make it again! We used cinnamon appleasauce. If we would have left it in the oven for an hour, as the recipe advises, it would have burned -- so I would say to adjust the cooking time to 45 to 50 minutes. - 11/3/12
