CMR Deer Chili

Ingredients
1/2 pound suet2 large onions chopped1 large garlic bud minced5 tbs flour1/4 cup chili powder1 tsp cumin3 pounds deer meart cubbed or ground 1/2 tsp oregano1 bay leaf3 8 oz cans tomato paste2 cups canned tomatoes1 tsp pepper6 chili peppers chopped
Directions
Cook suet in skillet, remove cracklins, add onions and garlic, cook until tender.

In a paper bag mix flour, chili powder and cumin, add meat and shake until coated, add to the onion mixture in skillet and brown. Add other ingredients and simmer four or five hours, stir and add hot water along as needed.
