2 cups of Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Crumbles3 slices of turkey bacon - diced1/2 cup of onion3 tbsp of olive oil1 1/2 tbsp of flour1/2 cup of fat free half and half1/2 cup of fat free chicken broth
In a medium pan, saute onions in 1 tbsp of olive oil until translucent. Add sausage and bacon. Cook until browned. Remove mixture from pan and place in a bowl. Add 2 tbsp of olive oil to same pan. Mix in flour, making a roux, and cook on med heat until browned. Combine half and half and chicken broth.Turn heat to low and add broth/half and half mixture stirring with a whisk to incorporate the roux. Bring heat back up med high, continuing stirring with a whisk until thickened. Add meat/onion mixture back into pan and stir until combined. Serve with Healthy Biscuits.
