Beef, round steak, .5 lbBeans, black, 3 cupYellow Sweet Corn, Canned, 1 cupWater, tap, 8 cup (8 fl oz)White Rice, long grain, 2 cupLa Victoria Thick'n Chunky Salsa Verde Medium, 30 tbspOnion powder, .5 tbspPepper, black, 1 dashCumin seed, .25 tspAllspice, .25 tsp
Spray crock pot with non-stick cooking spray.
Place beef at bottom of pot, in center.
Season the beef with onion powder, black pepper, Cumin and Allspice.
Drain black beans and corn.
Pour first two cans of black beans over beef.
Pour can of corn over the black beans, spread 'em around a bit.
Pour third can of black beans over corn and other beans.
Pour Salsa Verde over the entire thing.
Add 1 cup of water.
Cover and set on Low.
About 6 hours later, add 2 cups of rice and other seven cups of water additionally to ensure the rice doesn't stick/burn and gets fully soaked/fluffed up.
Serving Size: 6
