Slowcooker Turkey & Sausage Soup

Ingredients
1 small onion, diced1 red bell pepper, diced2 cups diced cooked turkey meat1 small yam, peeled and diced1/4 c. tomato paste2 c. chicken broth2 c. water2 bay leaves1 T. cajun seasoning
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a 3qt. or larger slow cooker. Stir to evenly distribute ingredients.

Cook on low for 6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, till yams are tender.

Serve with rice if desired.
