Tomato Basil Sauce

Directions
Heat butter and garlic until melted.
Cut the vegetables and saute in the garlic butter until translucent. Add the canned tomatoes, oregano, basil, stir and let simmer 10-15 minutes.

Add olive oil and stir.

Optionally, you can transfer to a crock pot and continue simmering to deepen the flavor.

Serving Size: Makes enough sauce to serve with 12 servings of pasta
