Blue Fish In Tomato Sauce

1 lb. blue fish (mine was 6 fillets)1/2 cup red onion, chopped3 tsp. crushed garlic2 Tbsp. olive oil1 14 oz. can diced tomatoes1/4 cup green bell peppers, chopped1 oz. red wine1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning blendsalt & pepper to taste
Heat olive oil in non stick saute pan then add onion, green pepper and garlic. Saute until onion is translucent (about 5 minutes), then add seasonings (crushed red pepper, Italian seasoning blend, salt & pepper). Next add can of diced tomatoes and some red wine. Bring to a good simmer and cook for about 10 minutes or so, until all the flavors are blended. Place the fish skin side down in the pan and spoon some of the sauce over them. Cover and continue to simmer about 25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.
