Dark Chocolate Dipped Pears

Ingredients
4 small _ripe_ pears (Forelle or Sechel)4 oz dark chocolate
Directions
Melt chocolate in heat proof bowl set over pot of gently boiling water or double boiler, stirring occasionally. When fully melted, let cool slightly.

Meanwhile take pears, and core from bottom, leaving stem on top. Dip pears in melted chocolate, covering lower 1/2 to 2/3 evenly in chocolate. Place on parchment paper covered plate and chill in refrigerator for at least 15 minutes (up to 2 hours). When ready to serve, bring back to nearly room temperature. Serves 4.
