Phillip's Sunday Night Chilli

Ingredients
4-28oz cans diced tomatoes3 big cans chilli beans2T chilli powder0.5T cumin0.5T garlic0.5T black pepper4T buter2 bell peppers1 large onion1 lb 93/7 ground beef1/3c sugar
Directions
Put tomatoes, beans, and spices in a pot and simmer. Brown ground beef with peppers and onions in butter. Add to tomato/bean mixture. Let simmer until thickened.

    works better if you simmer your tomatoes first and let them cook down just a bit with the sugar and spices in them. Before adding beans, meat, onions, and bell peppers, mash the tomatoes just a bit for a great texture. - 1/23/12
