1 pound Great Northern Beans9 cups water
Rinse and sort beans.
Put beans and water in crock pot and cook for 3 hours. Less if you want them firmer / more if you want them mushier, its your preference.
I then freeze in 2 cup portions with juices. This is better than buying the canned stuff. It does not have all the sodium and I feel it is a lot healthier.
Serving Size: makes 6 - 1 cup servings
