Ingredients
Olive Oil, 1 tbsp Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped Carrots, raw, 1 cup, chopped Celery, raw, 1 cup, diced Garlic, 1 clove mincedBay Leaf, 2 Rosemary, dried, .5 tsp Thyme, ground, .25 tsp Marjoram, dried, .5 tsp Celery seed, .5 tsp Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce, 3 tsp Parsley, 1 tbsp Beef stock, 8 Cups (I used Wolfgang Puck's Organic Beef Stock)Barley, pearled, cooked, 2 cup 1 Cup diced cooked beef
Directions
Saute vegetables
Add spices and stock
Simmer 15 minutes
Add barley and diced beef
Simmer 15 minutes
Add Worcestershire and parsley to serve

    This soup was easy and quite tasty, my kids had never tried barley before, and they all liked it. I think I would put more Worcestesire sauce, but it was great. Very easy, too. - 10/12/14
