Jenni's Whole Wheat Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour1 teaspoon baking soda1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 cup walnuts1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened1/2 cup honey2 egg whites3 mashed overripe bananas
Directions
1. Peel and slice bananas, mash.

2. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda and walnuts.

3. Add egg whites, honey and applesauce to bananas, stir. Slowly fold dry ingredients to bananas until mixed thoroughly.

4. Pour mixture into greased bread pan. (I used cooking spray)

5. Bake at 350* for 50-55 minutes.

    I think this is not very sweet. I substituted maple syrup for honey since I was out of honey. I don't think it is very moist, but it is so low in calories, I enjoy it more. Next time I will add a little more sweetner and maybe some coconut oil. It was easy to make. - 3/23/16
