Broccoli Soup + Protein

3/4 2lb package frozen broccoli (or 4-6 stalks fresh broccoli)2 scoops GNC Unflavored Whey ProteinWaterSalt (to taste)Blender
If using fresh broccoli, cut off the heads of the stalks and cut into small pieces. May chop and include stalks if you so choose.
Bring water to a boil in large pot. When boiling, add a few shakes of salt. Pour in broccoli. Salt again.
Boil broccoli until tender.
Separate Broccoli from broth. SAVE BROTH.
Fill blender approx 3/4 full with broccoli. Add broth until blended to a *thick* but smooth consistency. Pour broccoli into bowl and set to side.
Fill blender with 12-16 oz of broth. Add 2 scoops of unflavored protein powder. Blend until mixed thoroughly.
Slowly pour protein/broth into pureed broccoli, stirring until thoroughly mixed.
Enjoy.
