Two Cheese Macaroni Bake

2 tbsp butter2 1/2 tbsp all-purpose flour2 cups milk3/4 tsp salt1/8 tsp cayenne pepper8 oz pasta *I used shells*4 slices colby-jack cheese4 slices sharp cheddar cheesepaprika (optional)
Melt butter in med. saucepan over med. heat.
Stir in flour until smooth; cook 1 min, stirring constantly.
Stir in milk, salt and cayenne pepper.
Heat to a boil; reduce heat.
Simmer 1 min. or until thickened, stirring frequently.
Stir in cooked pasta.
Spoon half of pasta mixture into 8x8-in square pan; top with colby-jack cheese.
Repeat with remaining pasta and cheddar cheese.
Sprinkle with paprika if desired.
Bake in preheated 375degree oven, 25 min or until bubbly.
