English Cheddar Chickpea Patties

Ingredients
1 Can of chickpeas (garbonzo beans)3 oz. English Cheddar with Caramelized Onions (shred)0.5 cup Minced Onions1 tsp. Mrs. Dash and any other seasonings that you wish1 tbsp Olive Oil (but you can use half)
Directions
Drain can of chickpeas and empty into a processor or bowl. If using a processor, once semi-smooth, add shredded cheese and mix with seasonings. If using a bowl, mash semi-smoothly then add cheese and seasonings.

Place EVOO to your hands and make four patties. The oil helps to keep the beans from sticking to your hands and covers them for light frying. The patties should be rather large, giving you a tasty, heavy main meal piece.

In a non-stick pan, add the patties and brown. If needed, add a little of the Mrs. Dash once removed from the pan. The patties go great with green veggies. Enjoy!
