American Venison Shepherd's Pie (Gluten Free)

Ingredients
1 lb Ground Venison (no added fat)8 oz Baby Bella Mushrooms, chopped1/2 cup Sweet Onion, chopped2 cloves Garlic, minced1 tsp Morton Nature's Seasons Seasoning Blend - No MSG1 cup Progresso Vegetable Classics Creamy Mushroom Soup1/2 cup Frozen Peas2 cups Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns1/8 cup Chives, chopped1 cup Cabot 50% Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar2 Tbsp Blue Plate Light Mayo1 tsp Paprika
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 F. Place ground venison, mushrooms, onion, garlic, and seasoning in a cast iron skillet. Saute, breaking up ground venison, until the juices have almost evaporated. Stir in mushroom soup and simmer until sauce thickens. Remove from heat and cool slightly, then sprinkle green peas evenly on top of beef. Combine hash brown potatoes, chives, 1/2 cup of the cheese, mayonnaise, and additional seasoning, if desired. Spread evenly on top of meat layer. Spread remaining cheese on top and sprinkle lightly with paprika. Bake about 45 minutes until cheese has melted and is slightly browned. Let rest 15 minutes before serving.
