Beans, black, .5 cupVegetable Broth, 1 cup Water, 3 cupsOnions, raw, .5 cup, chopped Garlic, 3 cloves, mincedJenny-O Turkey breakfast sausage -2 links, COOKED, 2 serving Marjoram, dried, 1 tsp Bay Leaf, .5 tsp, crumbledPepper, red or cayenne, .5 tsp
1. Cover beans with 1/2 inch of water and bring to a boil, cook for 10 minutes covered. Let sit for 30 minutes. Meanwhile mince garlic, dice onion and cook sausage if not already cooked.
2. Drain black bean cooking liquid, give a quick rinse and drain again. Add all ingredients to crock pot and turn on high.
3. Let cook for 6-8 hours or until desired bean tenderness. Serve with sour cream if desired.
