Ingredients
Directions
-2 cups Oats-1/2 cup Toasted Wheat Germ-1/2 cup Flaxseed Meal-1 cup Dried Fruit (Cranberries, Apricots, etc)-1 cup All Natural Peanut Butter-1/4 cup Blue Agave Sweetener-1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup -1/4 cup Almond Milk or Water (optional)
* Combine dry ingredients (oats, flaxseed meal and wheat germ) and mix together thoroughly. Add in dried cranberries and stir.
* In a sauce pan, combine peanut butter with maple syrup and agave. On a low heat, stir all the ingredients together until smooth and slightly runny (shouldn't be on the stovetop for more than about 5-7 minutes; you want to mix the ingredients, not cook them)
* Pour the peanut butter mixture into the dry mixture, and use a spatula to mix all of the ingredients together. If you would like a smoother texture, add in 1/4 cup almond milk (or water). Use your hands to make sure that the ingredients are completely mixed.
* Put the mixture into a 9x9 pan, pressing down to mix evenly. Use the bottom of a measuring cup to flatten the mixture evenly.
* Allow to cool/set for at least 2 hours, then cut into 16 even pieces.
