Smoky Corn Chowder

Ingredients
8 oz of bacon1 lg sweet onion - chopped2 cloves garlic - minced1/2 tsp smoked paprika1/4 tsp crushed red pepper2 10-oz bags of frozen corn3 C chix/veg broth1 C Heavy CreamKosher salt & Pepper
Directions
Cut bacon into 1/2" chunks and cooked to crisp
Spoon off all but 2 Tb of bacon oil and add chopped onion (7-8min). Cook until clear, add garlic, smoked paprika and red pepper. Cook for 2 min. Stir in Corn, Chix Broth and Cream. Bring to boil. Reduce and simmer for 15 mins.
Place 1/2 of soup in blender and puree until smooth. Mix back into pot and serve with bacon as garnish.
