Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 1 lg. can, drained & rinsed. Reserve liquid Jalapeno Peppers, 1/3 cup, canned, sliced *Tahini, 1 tbsp Cilantro, raw, 1/4c chopped Lime Juice, 1/4 cup *Cumin seed, 2 tsp Garlic, 4 cloves Salt, 2 tsp
Add ingredients to food processor, process to a puree. Add liquid from the peas and needed for correct texture. Adjust seasonings to taste. Add more Jalapeno peppers, garlic and cumin to suit your taste.
