Strawberry-Apple Jam

Ingredients
2 lbs of strawberries, capped and quartered1 c sugar3 small apples2 TBSP lemon juice
Directions
combine the strawberries, sugar and coarsely grated apples in a heavy pot or deep skillet. Cook on Med High and stir while breaking up strawberries. Bring to boil for 10-15 minutes (keep stirring!) until jam is thickened. Remove from heat and add lemon juice and stir well. Allow to cool before storing.

Serving Size: makes 3 cups; 1 TBSP is a serving
