Cilantro Lime chicken skewers

1/2 cup Water1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro1 tsp chopped fresh Jalapeno1 clove garlic, mincedJuice of half a lime2 tsp safflower oilsalt and pepper to taste4 whole boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into 1 inch strips10 bamboo skewers soaked in water for 30 min
1. Combine water, cilantro, jalapeno, garlic, lime juice, oil, salt and pepper in a plastic freezer bag. seal and shake the bag to mix well.
2. Add the chicken and seal, pressing the air out of the bag and massaging the marinade into meat.
3. Marinade in refrigerator for at least 30 min.
4. Pre-heat broiler.
5. Thread 2 pieces of chicken onto each skewer
6. Broil, turning once, for 7 minutes, or until chiken is lightly browned and no longer pink in the middle. Serve warm.
