Stuffed Chicken Sausage Peppers

Ingredients
4 Peppers1 can sliced waterchestnuts1 16 oz can fire roasted dices tomatoes1 16oz chub Iseneros Italian chicken sausage1 12 oz jar Prego pizza sauce1 Tbsp dried basil
Directions
Place sausage in sautee pan and cook through, about 10 minutes. Break up sausage into small peices. While sausage is cooking, chop waterchestnuts into small pieces. Add waterchestnuts, tomatoes, pizza sauce, and basil to sausage and allow to simmer for 10 minutes. Cut peppers in half, lengthwise. Place peppers in a shallow baking dish. Spoon sausage mixture into pepper halves. Place in 350 oven for 10 minutes, or until peppers are softened.
