Jamie's Mediterranean Chopped Salad

Ingredients
1 small handful black olives1/2 red onion1 red chile2 firm ripe tomatoes1 romaine lettuce1 bunch of fresh basil6Tbs extra virgin olive oil2 Tbs balsamic vinegarsalt and pepper
Directions
In large chopping board, start chopping the harder, crunchier vegetables first. Peel and slice onion, halve, seed, and finely chop the chile. Bring it into the center of board and continue chopping and mixing together. Add the lettuce and basil. Chop until everything is well chopped and you have a big mound of salad. On board or in bowl, make well in middle and drizzle olive oil and balsamic and good pinch of salt and pepper. Mix so everything gets dressed.
