Frikadellen (German Meat Balls)

Ingredients
8 oz ground turkey or ground chicken0.25 cups seasoned bread crumbs1 large egg
Directions
Add all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Knead until just combined and form small balls.
Spray non-stick skillett with cooking spray and fry until done.

Makes 4-8 meatballs, depending on how large you want them to be. I calculate 4oz of raw meat per person, so I get 2 servings.

    When using ground turkey I would make as the traditional Frikadellen and add onion, parsley, mustard, egg and bread crumbs. - 11/15/09

    My husband's from Germany and he makes these all the time! Delicious! He adds onion, garlic, salt & pepper. Honey glazed is really good as well. - 8/27/09
