C.J.'s Homemade Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
4 (14oz) cans of whole tomatoes or chopped fresh tomatoes1 (12oz-14oz) can of tomato paste2 small carrots2 TBSP onion powder4 cloves garlic2 small jalapeno peppers8 leaves of fresh basil or 2 TBSP dried2 TBSP rosemary or 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary4 TBSP balsamic vinegar (up to 1/4 cup)salt & pepper to taste
Directions
Puree carrots, tomatoes, garlic, jalapeno peppers, basil and rosemary in food processor and pour into saucepan with rest of ingredients, Stir until well blended. Heat on medium low stirring occasionally for about 2 hours. Cut the heat back to low if it is bubbling (as this can cause a mess or burns). This recipe can be doubled and put in containers to store in freezer which is what I usually do.
