Sacino Homemade Tomato Sauce

2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil2 Cloves of garlic chopped1/4 Cup chopped yellow onion1 Can of Plum Tomatoes (796 ml, 28 fl oz)1 Tbsp of chopped parsley1 Dash of pepper1Dash of salt
Heat oil in a sauce pan on high heat. Add onions and garlic and turn the heat to medium for 1 minute so the flavour soaks into the oil. Blend the can of tomatoes and parsley in a blender for 5 seconds, so they are still a bit chunky. Pour the blender in the sauce pan and turn back up to high heat until it boils. Add your salt and pepper to taste and then turn heat to medium/low and let it simmer for 30-90 minutes. The longer it simmers the thicker it will be.
Makes 6 - 1/2 cup servings. (great for 1 cup of pasta)
