Ingredients
9 small macintosh apples, peeled and chopped2 tbsp ground cinnamon1 tbsp ground nutmeg2 tbsp splenda1 cup white flour1/4 cup brown sugar1/3 cup margarine or butter
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Peel and chop apples and place in baking dish.
Sprinkle apples with ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and splenda.
In a small bowl combine flour, brown sugar, and margarine until crumble texture forms.
Sprinkle apples with crumble mixture and bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

Makes 16 1/2-cup servings

    This is the same apple crumble I prepare and it is great. If you serve ir with a little of cream (not whipped, just from the fridge) over it... it is much better - 10/14/09

    I reduced the cinnamon to 1 tbsp but this was a very tasty recipe. Even my DH enjoyed it and he is not normally very keen on crumble. - 1/28/09
