3 1/2 cups red lentils, washed well in fresh water till water runs clear, or almost clear1/2 cup chopped onion, any kind1/2 cup chopped celery6 or more Tbsp. Jerk Jamaican Allspice (flavor to taste)Add hot sauce, pepper, garlic and salt to taste.2 Quarts of water
put all ingredients into crock pot. Put on high for 6 hrs and serve with fresh bread if you choose. I eat it as is, simple, delicious, lots of fibre and filling.
