Ingredients
2 cups 2% milk1/4 cup granulated sugar3 tablespoon cornstarch1/4 teaspoon salt2 large egg yolks1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
In 2 quart saucepan mix milk, sugar, cornstarch, and salt, egg yolks.
Cook over medium low heat, until mixture thickens and boils, for 1 minute.
Stir in vanilla. Let cool before use.
