2 lb ground beef1 large onion chopped1 medium green pepper, chopped2 celery ribs, chopped2-16oz canned chili beans1 can (29 ounces) tomato puree1 jar (16 Ounces) salsa1 can (14-1/2 ounces) condensed beef broth2 cups water1/4 cup chili powder2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce1 Tbsp dried basil2 tsp ground cumin2 tsp steak sauce1 tsp garlic power1 tsp salt1 tsp ground pepper
In a Dutch oven, cook the beef, onion, green pepper and celery over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and vegetables are tender; drain. Stir in the beans, tomato puree, salsa, tomatoes, broth, water, and seasonings. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30-60 minutes, or until chili reaches desired thickness. Can also be cooked in slow cooker. Yield: 16 -1 cup servings.
