Hunts Diced Tomatoes .5 cup= 121 g, 3.5 cup *Perdue Fresh Ground Chicken, 16 oz Safeway petite diced tomatoes w/ green chillies .5 c=121g, 14.5 oz *Goya Dark Red Kidney Beans, 7 cup 2 cans rinsed Onion large diced Chili powder, 3 tbsp *Cumin seed, 1 tbsp crushed to a powder Pepper, black, 1 tsp Garlic, 3 cloves add water All spices can be increased according to taste. Optional: serve over rice cheese could be added.
Use a non stick frying pan
dice onion, crush garlic and sautee till clear. Remember to add some pepper as it cooks. Add chicken that has been seasoned with the chili powder and cumin, brown. Add the tomatoes and beans, cover and let simmer on low for 30 minutes.
