Kale, Chickpea and Avocado Salad

Ingredients
Kale, chopped1 Avocado, diced1 small red onion, diced1 can chick peas (garbanzo beans)Extra Virgin Olive OilMinced GarlicHoneyLemon JuiceRed Pepper FlakesOptional - BasilSalt to taste
Directions
If you did not purchase chopped kale (I sometimes buy the Old Glory bagged, chopped kale), chop and remove stems.

Dice the avocado into small cubes and dice the onion. Mix kale, avocado, onion and can of chick peas in a large salad bowl.

Drizzle with olive oil, honey and lemon juice. You can adjust the amounts to your tastes. Sprinkle lightly with salt, minced garlic and red pepper flakes.

I don't like basil, but the original recipe included a sprinkling of fresh basil, too.

Mix well to coat ingredients with liquid and herbs, and serve!
