Mung dal and steel cut oats khichdi

1/2 cup steel cut oats1/2 cup yellow moong dal (split moong)2 tsp oili tsp mustard seeds1 tsp green chilli chopped2 tsp garlic chopped1 tsp ginger chopped4-5 curry leaves1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)1/2 tsp chilli powder1/2tsp cumin powder1/2 tsp corriander powdersalt to taste
1. wash the moong daal and drain all the water.
2.Heat the oil in a pressure cooker, add mustard seeds.
3. when they start spluttering add the green chilli, garlic, ginger, curry leaves, turmeric powder chillipowder, cumin and corriander powder and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
4.Add the oats and yellow moong dal and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring continuously.
3.Add 4 cups of hot water and salt, mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
4.Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
5.Serve immediately with fat-free yogurt.
