Ingredients
Directions
Brown Sugar, 10 tsp unpacked (for each chicken)10 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 95% lean or whatever you prefer.6 Garlic Cloves (chopped / diced)Butter (unsalted) 4 tablespoonsGround Black Pepper (chicken seasoning / optional)Sea Salt (chicken seasoning / optional)1/2 cup Pineapple (I prefer fresh store bought diced / chopped natural juices with no canned sugar, normally comes in a container not can)
3 oz per person
1. Pat dry your chicken with a paper towel and place on a plate.
2. Season chicken both sides with Sea salt and Ground Black Pepper. (season chicken to your liking)
3. While chicken is seasoned, heat a frying pan on medium low heat. (make sure the pan it heated and hot) ("Not high heat" as you would burn the butter.)
4. Add all the 4 tbs of butter and melt as directed above.
5. add all garlic (turn the heat to medium now and brown the garlic a bit and try not to burn it or it leaves the burnt like taste and that's not good flavor for the chicken.)(browning means more like "just a little toasted for flavor")
6. Add your seasoned chicken thighs to the garlic and butter do not over stuff the pan for it needs space to cook and breath cook for 2 minutes
(after 2 minutes)
8.) after 2 minutes Add 1/2 of the pineapple, covering chicken and the sides and cook for additional minutes remaining ( do not flip chicken over yet) (cook one side for 5 min. on medium heat, i normally cover the chicken with a lid for the first additional minutes at a time to keep in the juices while cooking.)
7.) After 5 minutes on one side, cook the chicken for 5 more minutes on the opposite side.
8.) after 5 minuted on both side, flip chicken over one more time for the last cook.
9.) smother tsp of brown sugar onto the chicken and cook with a lid on for 2 minutes on medium heat, for the steam to kick in and melt the sugar into the chicken.
10.) and your meal is complete.
11.) i used the remaining juices in the pan to cook the remaining of the chicken in the juices as directed in the directions. each chicken i cooked for 5 minutes on each side, except i added the additional pineapple to the remaining of the chicken etc.
