Banana Flax Nut Bread

Ingredients
1 c whole grain wheat flour4 t flax1/2 c organic white flour1/2 c maple syrup3 med bananas1 c black walnuts1/4 c canola oil1/3 c buttermilk2 eggs1 t soda1 t salt2 t vanilla
Directions
In large bowl, stir together flours, soda, salt, flax. In another bowl combine eggs, bananas, oil, buttermilk, vanilla, and maple syrup. Add to flour mixture , stirring until just combined. Fold in nuts. Pour into greased 9x5" bread pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, 20 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool on wire rack. Yields 1 loaf. Recipe does not double well.
