Ingredients
Directions
1 box of lasgna noodles1 can Hunt's traditional spaghetti sauce (or your favorite brand of sauce)Half a block of Muenster cheeseHalf a block of Sharp Cheddar cheese1lb venison 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese1 cup cottage cheese1 cup ricotta cheese1 large eggSeasonings of your choice for meat (I used McCain salt free garlic and herb & a tiny sprinkle of ground red pepper)
Fry venison on stove top using pam spray and desired spices
While meat is frying slice Muenster and cheddar cheeses (and grate mozzarella if necessary)
Also, boil noodles until they are about halfway done (no longer hard but not quite done)
When meat is cooked mix with spaghetti sauce.
When noodles are finished place in cool water until ready to use.
Pre-heat oven to 375
Now, mix ricotta cheese, cottage cheese and 1 egg together in a bowl.
Start layering your pan with the ingredients however you desire...
I usually start with sauce and ricotta\moz cheeses. Top that with noodles, more ricotta\moz cheese, and the three other cheeses. Then another layer of noodles topped with sauce, ricotta\moz, and cheese.
Repeat layers until noodles are gone. Tope with remaining sauce and cheeses.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake 60-90 minutes checking periodically to ensure it doesn't dry out or burn.
Makes 15 servings.
Number of Servings: 15

I have tried to make Lasagna 2 times before this and no matter how closely I follow the directions it comes out very runny. This came out perfect and my whole family loved it. Thank you very much for sharing this one! I will definitely be using it for many years to come. - 11/25/08

I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's my FAVORITE... especially with the venison.
