Turkey Breast with onion & garlic, slow cooked

2 to 2 1/2 lbs. turkey breast, skin on, bone-in or boneless and excess fat removed1 Tbs. Olive oil2 cups Onions, chopped2-3 cloves garlic, chopped2 cups low-sodium chicken broth (I used College Inn Light and Fat Free chicken broth)1 tsp. Salt (optional)1 tsp. dried Rosemary1 tsp. dried SageFOR GRAVY:1/4 cup whole wheat flour
Heat Olive Oil in a large skillet and Brown the Turkey Breast. Remove and place in 5 qt. slow cooker.
IN THE SAME SKILLET, sautee onions and garlic until browned. ADD chicken broth, salt, pepper, Rosemary and Sage and combine. POUR of turkey breast and cool on LOW for 6 - 8 hours.
REMOVE turkey breast from slow cooker. REMOVE and COMBINE 1 Cup of broth with the flour and return to slow cooker. Continue cooking broth for 10 minutes or until thickened.
REMOVE skin from turkey, slice and serve with gravy. Yields 4 servings.
