Cabbage Soup Diet

1/2 or whole onion to taste2-4 cloves of garlic, finely choppedsalt and pepper1 medium head of cabbage1.5 cup sliced carrots, pre steamed1 can stewed tomatoes
saute onions with garlic in a pan sprayed with Pam or Olive oil
steam carrots until al dente
make broth with 6 cups of water
chop cabbage small and place in broth with onion and garlic mixture. Cook on Medium until cabbage is cooked. Add the juice of one can stewed tomatoes. Chop the tomatoes, add to soup with cooked carrots cook until everything is warm.
Serving Size: makes 20 1/2 servings or 10 1 cup
