Greek stew (stifatho)

Ingredients
2.5 lbs (approx) beef stew meat1 medium onion, chopped10 large garlic cloves, minced2 cups water2 TBSP red wine vinegar2 bay leaves1 cinnamon stick
Directions
Melt the butter in a skillet and brown the ground beef. Place the ground beef into your crockpot.

Add the onions and garlic to the same skillet and cook until the onions are translucent. Add the red wine vinegar and water, bring to a boil. Add to the crockpot.

Drop in the whole cinnamon stick and bay leaves, and cook on low heat for 8 hours (or high heat for 4 hours)
