Fat Boy Soup (Cream of Vegetable Soup)

Ingredients
2 Stocks of celery2 medium carrots1 large yellow onion diced1 large or 2 medium potatoes1 cup diced rutabega (or turnips)1/2 cup green beans4 cups water1 tsp salt1/2 cup frozen peas
Directions
Bring everything (except peas) to a boil and let simmer for 15 minutes. Then add peas and let simmer for 5 more minutes. SEPERATELY, mix 1/4 cup flour with 1 cup milk until there are no lumps. Stir into simmering soup & simmer until it thickens.
* Optional: add a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup to make it more creamy.

Serving Size: makes 10 1-cup servings
