Ingredients
3 cups dried pinto beans1/2 c. chopped onion1 medium red or green bell pepper chopped2 garlic cloves minced1 tbsp chili powder1 tsp blk pepper1 tsp sea salt2 tsp onion powder 1 tsp cumin1 tsp dried oregano10 cups water for cooking and more for soaking beans and precook
Directions
Soak beans overnight in water. Drain then add water to cover and bring to a boil on the stove for 15 min to kill toxins. Drain and add to crock pot with all other ingredients including the 10 cups of water. Cook on low for 8 hours. Makes 6 servings with about 1 cup beans each.
