Gotta watch the salt in the soy sauce - 5 spice powder & curry don't really need soy sauce - I used a little water & more curry instead. I also added some sugar snap peas & onions for more veggies. I love stir fry!! - 12/30/08

I figured this out at 89 mg of Cholesterol for the meat. I hope this helps anyone watching your Cholesterol. - 6/21/09

made this tonight, substitued mushrooms and carrots for 3/4 of a yellow onion, also substituted hamburger for lean turkey and didn't make it with rice or soy sauce... it was very good and I calculated my changes at bringing the calories to about 110 per serving! :) Thanks for the recipe! - 12/30/08

Very tasty but you'll need more spice. I didn't use soy sause but rather stir fry for less salty taste. Also substituted brown rice for the white. I will definitely make again. - 2/18/08

Definitely drain the fat before adding the rest of the ingredients! Put in a couple of bay leaves for added flavour; remove before serving. - 9/1/09

I substituted extra lean ground turkey for the ground beef. It tasted really good! This meal is a keeper. YUM!!! - 2/15/08

This was really good. I like the suggestion of adding garlic next time. I used on TBSP of Teryiaki sauce and only 2 Soy Sauce and I used a lower sodium soy sauce to cut the sodium down. It was great! - 5/20/09

I make something similar with ground beef, bean spouts, shredded cabbage and shredded broccoli, also very good - 9/1/09

I agree with the comments that there is an error in the nitritional info - no way can the cholesterol count be 0 . This does sound tasty but I will use ground turkey and brown rice for added health benefit, also add garlic, onion and some jalapeno pepper (we like spice!). - 10/26/08

Oh!, I like this one. I served with warm tortillas and refried beans. Everyone enjoyed. - 9/8/08

I'm beginning to wonder the accuracy of sparkpeople's nutrition calculations. There was something else recently that gave me that suspicion, (actually a few things), but I don't remember specifically what they were. - 8/31/08

Needs lots of spice and perhaps a little bit of garlic. LOTS of food though. Quite yummy. - 1/21/09

The nutrician facts says no cholesterol? That doesn't sound right and the sodium, oh my that is a lot. I think I will skip making this one. It is sure to cause water retention and other problems - 10/24/08

8oz of beef is not the same as 8 fluid ounces - I'm not sure how you calculated nutrition of "1 cup" of ground beef? I couldn't find any rice for under 140 cal/serving - I think the Spark calculator is off? I made it with 1/2lb ground turkey, no oil, & brown rice - 382 calories. Loved it! - 9/4/09

This was good but I added a little garlic and next time I will try adding some chopped onion because it seemed to be missing something else. - 4/9/08
