1/2 C Shortening1 C Sugar3 Eggs2 t Baking Powder1/2 C Milk1 t Vanilla1/2 t Salt
1. Cream shortening, sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking powder and salt and add alternately with milk to creamed mixture.
2. Add vanilla and beat thoroughly.
3. Pour into lined cupcake pan and bake 15 to 20 minutes.
Serving Size: makes 18 cupcakes.
