Plain Muffins with Raisins

Ingredients
Light Butter 200gSelf Raising Flour 250gBrown(raw) sugar 8 tspRaisins 1 cupBaking Powder 2 tspMilk 1 cupEgg 1
Directions
Sift flour and baking powder together in a bowl. In a separate bowl beat the egg lightly and add milk. Melt the butter a little before adding it to the egg and milk.
Pour egg, milk and butter mixture on to the the flour and baking powder. Mix by hand or with electric mixxer untill all ingredients are smooth.
Pour 2/3 into each muffin mold, and bake for 15mins in a moderate over or until golden brown on top. Turn out on to a wire rack to cool.
Makes 10-12.
