Flapjack - Plain

1 1/4 cup Oats1 1/4 cup Lowfat Milk1 large Egg1 T Oil1 t Vanilla1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour1/2 cup White Flour1 T Sugar1 t Baking Powder1/2 cup Berries, fresh or thawed1 t jelly for topping
Combine oats and milk. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Combine egg, oil, vanilla & add to soaked oats.
Combine flours, sugar, baking powder, then stir into oat mixture.
Add berries.
On hot griddle or non-stick pan (med-high heat), spoon 1/4 batter per flapjack. Flatten with spoon. Cook til brown, then flip and brown reverse side.
Serve plain or with jelly, etc.
Serving Size: Makes 12 Flapjacks
